I fully understand. Need to look up how to smoothly backup the mailman3 settings and list databases in order to make that move with losing stuff... (kinda "mailman3 backup all" and mailman3 restore all" :-)
You do not really need to change much. The /etc/mailman3/* are almost usable as it with a little modification to file paths. The databases are also usable as-is. You may need to move a few files to the virtualenv directory tree and change permissions accordingly.
