Moderate first postings of new members
Hi,
I'm looking for a feature but not sure if I missed it or if it isn't really there.
By default, I accept all messages of list members without moderating them.
What I want is that I would like to moderate the messages of new subscribed members until I set them to auto-accept all messages. I want to see what a new member is posting before it is send/accepted to the list.
Is this possible?

Set "Default action to take when a member posts to the list" to "Hold for moderation" Then, in the held messages view, click the subject and in the resultant dialog, select "Default processing" from the "set member moderation" dropdown and Accept the message.

If you've set the default processing to 'hold for moderation' won't this just continue to moderate the member? Ive been selecting 'Accept immediately' in the dialog.

"Default action to take when a member posts to the list" will only continue to be applied to the member if you select "List default". The difference between "Default processing" and "Accept Immediately" is "Default processing" passes the moderation check but continues to check other rules which are header-match, administrivia, implicit-dest, max-recipients, max-size, news-moderation, no-subject, digests and suspicious-header. "Accept immediately" bypasses all those additional checks.
